Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking an Academic Internal Medicine Faculty physician to help shape the next generation of clinicians within our growing residency program. You will teach, provide outpatient internal medicine care, and engage in academic activities amid robust simulation and POCUS curricula.

The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, and requires BC/BE in Internal Medicine and an active Florida license or

Qualifications

• Experienced outpatient Internal Medicine physician with academic & research background; interest in EHR/AI a plus.
• Passion for teaching: outpatient precepting + teaching conferences
• Teach with outstanding resources: excellent simulation center and a growing POCUS curriculum
• Be part of a program on the rise: IM residency will include 60 categorical residents
• Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends
• BC/BE Internal Medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient internal medicine care in an academic setting.
• Contribute to teaching and conference activities for residents and fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activity and quality improvement projects.
