CoreCivic is seeking an Academic Instructor to provide instruction in basic education subjects to inmates in a secure setting. The role focuses on delivering mathematics, science, social studies, reading, writing and language arts, and developing level-appropriate lesson plans.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a teaching license, and have at least 18 years old with the ability to obtain required agency credentials. Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.

The Academic Instructor maintains a positive learning environment, adopting secure classroom management practices, and develops level appropriate lesson plans.
