Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks BC/BE academic hospitalists to join our Division of Hospital Medicine. You will mentor Internal Medicine and Med/Peds residents and medical students, participate in teaching and research, and contribute to scholarly activity.

There may be a 0.25 FTE leadership opportunity as Associate Program Director for Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Scholarly Activity within the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Qualifications

Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine
Experience managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment
A passion for academic work, including teaching, quality improvement, and innovation
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within healthcare

Responsibilities

Mentor and guide Internal Medicine and Med/Peds residents and medical students
Engage in teaching, research, and scholarly activity
Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
