Qualifications

• Board Certification in Geriatric Medicine or Palliative Medicine.
• Minimum five years of post-fellowship experience within an Academic Medical Center.
• Academic track record with peer‑reviewed publications or significant contributions to medical education.
• Exceptional interdisciplinary communication and leadership skills within a team-of-teams setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert geriatric assessment and management recommendations for Medicine, Trauma & Orthopedics, ICU/Critical Care, and subspecialty services.
• Co-manage fragility fractures and perioperative optimization with trauma/ortho teams.
• Address delirium prevention and end-of-life transitions in critical care settings.
• Mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in geriatric principles.
• Engage in scholarly activity, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to educational leadership within the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Education

Board Certification in Geriatric Medicine or Palliative Medicine

5+ years post-fellowship experience at an Academic Medical Center
