Banner Health's Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking BC/BE academic hospitalists to join our Division of Hospital Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona.

The role includes teaching Internal Medicine and Med/Peds residents and medical students from the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix, with potential 0.25 FTE leadership as Associate Program Director for Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Scholarly Activity.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine
• Experience with teaching residents and medical students is a plus
• Interest in academic medicine including quality improvement and research

Responsibilities

• Mentor Internal Medicine and Med/Peds residents and medical students
• Engage in clinical teaching and patient care in an academic setting
• Contribute to research, quality improvement, and scholarly activity
