Qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with 2–10 years of HLA lab experience.
• Eligible for ACHI HLA Laboratory Director Certification.
• MD candidates must be ABP certified in CP or AP/CP.
• Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure.
• At least 2 years in histocompatibility testing or related transplantation immunology.

Responsibilities

• Share on-call duties and consult for Virtual Crossmatching.
• Assist Laboratory Director with management tasks.
• Interpret results for clinical work-up of transplantation cases.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers, and mentor technologists.
