Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a physician to join the Hematology Oncology Division at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. This role includes patient care responsibilities, teaching medical students, and participating in research.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
• Fellowship trained in Hematology Oncology.
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology Oncology.
• Current licensure in the State of Ohio required, prior to beginning the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with medical care services.
• Round with the healthcare team and have independent rounding responsibilities.
• Adhere to departmental policies and ongoing quality improvement objectives.
• Participate in teaching programs.
• Engage in relevant research trials.
• Participate in service assignments important to the Department.

Education
