MedStar Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute to provide comprehensive cancer care within a multidisciplinary academic environment in Washington, DC. Formación

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Washington, DC.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outpatient and inpatient hematology and medical oncology services, including diagnosis, staging, and development of individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor treatment response, manage toxicities, and adjust therapy as clinically indicated.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across the cancer care continuum, including survivorship and palliative care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborative treatment planning with related specialties.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers; participate in conferences and CME activities.
• Participate in clinical research and therapeutic clinical trials, and identify eligible patients for enrollment.
• Adhere to NCCN guidelines, quality and safety initiatives, and accurate medical documentation; maintain licensure and board certification.

Educación
