LifeBridge Health’s William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center in Westminster, MD seeks a Medical Oncologist-Hematologist for a full-time role.

Join a multi-disciplinary team delivering outpatient care, clinical trials participation, and evidence-based practice in a state-of-the-art setting. The candidate should have MD/DO, completed hematology/oncology fellowship, Maryland license or eligibility, and a strong interest in research and education.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of internal medicine residency.
• Completion of hematology/oncology fellowship.
• Maryland license or ability to obtain.
• Board certified or eligible in hematology/oncology.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• Interest in clinical trials and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient oncology/hematology services at the center.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve care quality.
• Participate in cancer conferences and clinical research.
• Support evidence-based practices and quality initiatives.

Medical Oncologist-Hematologist - The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, Westminster, Maryland

The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center at Carroll Hospital is a fully accredited program by the Commission on Cancer and has a full-time opportunity for a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join their well-established team. In addition to daily clinical responsibilities, the physician will partner with the team to guide processes that achieve improvement in the quality of patient care through evidence-based clinical practices and promote an integrative oncology model of care.

The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center is a program of LifeBridge Health's Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and is located at Carroll Hospital, a LifeBridge Health center, in Westminster, MD.

Provides professional outpatient oncology/hematology services to patients in the Cancer Center and on-call consultation services to inpatients at Carroll Hospital.

The qualified candidate will work beside our board-certified hematologists/medical oncologists, our board-certified radiation oncologist, and our certified adult nurse practitioner in this state-of-the-art outpatient setting.

This position is supported by a robust, multi-disciplinary team including oncology nurse navigators, social worker, oncology dietitian, genetic counselor, financial counselors, onsite radiation oncology and palliative care/hospice services.

Base salary starting at $350k with opportunity for additional incentive compensation

Candidate Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience preferred
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency
• Completion of an accredited hematology/oncology fellowship
• Possess (or able to obtain) an unrestricted Maryland medical license
• Board certified or board eligible in hematology/oncology
• Prior leadership experience a plus
• Demonstrated interest in clinical trials participation and clinical research
• Participation in cancer conferences, staff education and continuing medical education efforts.
