Job summary

HMFP at BIDMC, Inc. seeks a Hematologist/Medical Oncologist to join Mount Auburn Hospital’s Division of Hematology/Oncology in Cambridge, MA. The role offers broad outpatient care, inpatient consultations, and affiliation with Harvard Medical School resources.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in tumor boards, and contribute to education of medical students and residents in a Harvard-affiliated setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or equivalent medical qualification.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Unrestricted Massachusetts medical license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care, including diagnosis, treatment, surveillance, and survivorship.
• Participate in inpatient hematology/oncology consultations.
• Collaborate with oncology nurses, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary staff.
• Engage in tumor boards and cross-specialty collaboration with surgery, radiation, radiology, pathology, and genetics.
• Educate and mentor medical students and residents in a Harvard-affiliated environment.
