Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine in Brooklyn, in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group, seeks an academic Board-Certified Cardiologist with advanced heart failure and transplantation expertise to join our expanding division.

The role covers care for patients with advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, transplantation, and involvement in teaching and multidisciplinary collaboration with ~30 cardiologists.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiologist with specialty training and extensive experience in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation.
• Expertise in heart failure management, mechanical circulatory support, and transplantation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced heart failure, including those requiring mechanical circulatory support and transplant evaluation.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the heart failure program in Brooklyn.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and related specialists.
• Participate in academic activities, including teaching within residency and fellowship programs.
• Rotate through affiliated centers to maintain exposure to transplantation and VAD therapy.
