Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn seeks an academic Board-Certified Cardiologist with specialty training in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation to join our expanding division.

The candidate will provide comprehensive care for advanced heart failure, including patients needing mechanical circulatory support and transplant evaluation, and will collaborate with ~30 cardiologists while engaging in teaching within residency and fellowship programs.

Qualifications

Experience in mechanical circulatory support and transplant evaluation.
Academic appointment with teaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced heart failure, including those requiring mechanical circulatory support and transplant evaluation.
Contribute to the growth and development of the heart failure program in Brooklyn.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of approximately 30 cardiologists.
Participate in academic activities, including teaching within residency and fellowship programs.
Rotate through NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center with exposure to transplantation and VAD therapy.
