Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, is seeking an academically oriented Head & Neck/ENT Surgical Pathologist for the Division of Anatomic Pathology. This is a full-time appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Professorial rank on either the tenured or non-tenure clinical track, depending on qualifications.

In addition to ENT diagnostic sign out, the successful candidate will participate in 1–2 additional subspecialty areas, general surgical

Qualifications

• MD/MD-PhD or DO degree.
• Board certified or eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Sign out Head & Neck/ENT pathology cases.
• Participate in 1–2 additional subspecialty areas and general surgical pathology.
• Perform frozen section services and contribute to medical student/resident/fellow education.
• Develop research projects reflective of own interests.
