Job summary

Albany Medical College in Albany, NY is seeking an AP or AP/CP board-certified pathologist to participate in Gynecological and/or Genitourinary pathology in an academic setting. Fellowship training in respective field is desirable, preferably with a second area of interest in AP.

Responsibilities include GYN/GU sign-out, shared AP call and non-forensic autopsy coverage (average fewer than 4 autopsies per year).

Qualifications

• Board-certified pathologist in AP/CP with fellowship training in GYN or GU preferred.
• Experience with sign-out and teaching in an academic setting preferred.
• Commitment to mentorship and scholarly activity is valued.

Responsibilities

• GYN and/or GU pathology sign-out.
• Shared AP call and non-forensic autopsy coverage (average <4 autopsies per pathologist per year).
• Teaching residents and medical students; presenting at conferences; participating in research.
