Job summary

CHI Health, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking an academic and clinical GI hospitalist in Omaha. You will provide inpatient and procedural GI services, collaborating with learners and fellows from Creighton University School of Medicine.

You must be board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology, with excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collegial, academic setting. Strong clinical judgement is essential.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology or eligibility.
• Ability to obtain Nebraska licensure; DEA and BLS.
• Relocation assistance and CME allowance available.

Responsibilities

• Take new inpatient consults and GI service rounding.
• Perform inpatient endoscopy; dedicated scoping schedule.
• No clinic responsibilities; focus on hospital/inpatient care.
• Contribute to Creighton University Gastroenterology Fellowship program.
