CHI Health, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking an academic and clinical GI hospitalist in Omaha. You will provide inpatient and procedural GI services, collaborating with learners and fellows from Creighton University School of Medicine.
You must be board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology, with excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collegial, academic setting. Strong clinical judgement is essential.
As our academic and clinical G.I. Hospitalist, you will become part of a highly respected Gastroenterology team that includes general and advanced Gastroenterologist. You will join CHI Health, which is a member of CommonSpirit Health System - The Nations' largest faith based health system.
Every day you will provide comprehensive inpatient and procedureal services for the full spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases. You will have the opportunity to work with learners, residents and fellows from our Gastroenterology fellowship program at Creighton University School of Medicine.
To be successful in this role, you will be board eligible or board certified certified in Gastroenterology. This opportunity is well-suited for physicians passionate about providing comprehensive Gastroenterology services, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to collaboration. You will also demonstrate excellent communication, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to thrive in a collegial, team oriented environment.
Combined Academic and Hospital/inpatient setting
Two weeks per month; with a 7 on/7 off schedule
Scheduled 0700-1900
Take new IP consults, IP rounding on GI service, perform IP endoscopy
Dedicated scoping schedule
Primary location will be Creighton University Medical Center Bergan (CUMC Bergan campus) on weekdays.
Bergan IP, Lakeside IP campus and Immanuel IP campus
No clinic responsibility

Participate in Grand Rounds if desired; receive Academic Appointment commensurate with experience
