Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an academic and clinical gastroenterologist to join the CHI Health GI team in Omaha. You will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient GI care, work with Creighton University trainees, and pursue academic appointments and clinical research.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration, and a balance of clinical and procedural interests in a thriving division with access to subspecialists and an established network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• BE/BC in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Gastroenterology required.
• Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology preferred.
• Ability to obtain Nebraska licensure and DEA certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient GI services.
• Collaborate with learners, residents and fellows in GI fellowship program.
• Participate in clinical research and academic appointment commensurate with experience.
• Offer flexible practice balancing clinical and procedural interests; focus on patient-centered care.
