Job summary

Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) Health is seeking an academic and clinical GI Hospitalist to join the Gastroenterology team in Omaha. The role involves comprehensive inpatient GI services and IP endoscopy as part of a diverse fellowship program with Creighton University School of Medicine.

Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology is required along with Internal Medicine training. Licensure in Nebraska, DEA, and BLS are mandatory.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology or board eligibility required.
• Internal Medicine board certification/eligibility required.
• Nebraska licensure to obtain.
• DEA certification required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and procedural GI services across the full spectrum of GI diseases.
• Perform IP endoscopy and IP rounding on GI service.
• Take IP consults and participate in education of learners, residents, and fellows.
• Maintain a dedicated scoping schedule and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support academic activities and participate in Grand Rounds if desired.
