UMass Memorial Health in Worcester seeks a compassionate Geriatrician to join the Department of Medicine. Join 12 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers in a setting with academic affiliation to UMass Chan Medical School and strong research opportunities.

You will provide patient-centered care to older adults, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to education and quality improvement in a leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Geriatric Medicine.
• Massachusetts medical license or eligibility.
• Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care for older adults.
• Interest in medical education, clinical research, or quality improvement welcomed.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to older adults.
• Evaluate and manage multimorbidity, polypharmacy, and age-related functional changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care coordination.
• Support goals of care and shared decision making with patients and families.
• Engage in medical student and resident education when applicable.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
