Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in our Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This role offers exposure to a busy, full-scope academic setting with access to clinical, surgical, and educational resources.

The department includes 30 physicians, 10 advanced practice providers, 2 genetic counselors, and 24 residents with 6 fellows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Eligible for or licensed in New York State.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Interest in teaching and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide general obstetrical and gynecological care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in hospital and home call coverage.
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
• Opportunities for clinical research.
