Albany Medical College seeks a full-time faculty member to join the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This position offers practice in a busy academic setting with access to diverse clinical, surgical, and educational resources.

The department includes 30 physicians, 10 advanced practice providers, 2 genetic counselors, 24 residents, and 6 fellows, with robust obstetric and gynecologic services and teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school (required).
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (required).
• Eligible for or currently licensed in New York State.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Interest in teaching and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide general obstetrical and gynecological care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in hospital and home call coverage.
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
• Opportunities for clinical research.
