Job summary

UNT Health Fort Worth seeks a Gastroenterologist to join the clinical practice group in an academic setting, offering opportunities for teaching, research, and patient care in outpatient clinics and hospital settings.

The successful candidate will perform endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS), contribute to medical education of students, residents, and GI fellows, and participate in scholarly activities while maintaining patient-centered, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• Texas Medical Jurisprudence Examination required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS).
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and GI fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activities including clinical research and quality improvement.
• Participate in call coverage and hospital responsibilities as required.
