Job summary

The Department of Internal Medicine at University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine seeks an Open Rank physician to provide gastroenterology services at the Morsani Center and Tampa General Hospital. This is a full-time 12-month salaried faculty appointment with attending staff privileges at TGH and affiliated hospitals.

Responsibilities include ambulatory GI clinics, inpatient call, endoscopy time, and teaching medical students, residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• Doctoral/Medical degree from an accredited institution and eligible for appointment.
• Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• CLINICAL: Provides General GI ambulatory clinics, inpatient Call & Coverage, and endoscopy time.
• ADMINISTRATIVE: Chart reviews, patient communications, finishing notes, MyChart messages.
• Responsible for teaching, research, service and related administrative activities at the department level.
