Job summary

University of California, Irvine's Department of History seeks a Financial Analyst to manage all department financial accounts, including the annual operating budget, faculty research funds, and program accounts.

Under general supervision, you will perform accounting and purchasing using the KFS system and other online tools, prepare concise financial reports, and support research, teaching and outreach activities within the School of Humanities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Experience with university accounting practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process BATs, GECs, requisitions and travel reimbursements.
• Monitor expenditures on multiple accounts, funds, and project codes.
• Prepare financial reports and communications for leadership and stakeholders.
