Modern Machining Solutions Inc. is seeking a Family Medicine Faculty Physician (MD/DO) to join an academic outpatient setting in Olney, Illinois. This role blends direct patient care with teaching, supervision, and mentorship of residents within a residency program.

The position emphasizes academic medicine, community-focused care, and opportunities to contribute to curriculum and scholarly activities. In-person, full-time schedule with standard clinic hours and teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a family medicine continuity clinic.
• Supervise and mentor family medicine residents in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Precept residents regularly, supporting clinical skill development and patient management
• Participate in clinical sessions with resident supervision
• Provide inpatient attending coverage for family medicine services several times per year
• Perform and supervise family medicine procedures, including obstetrics as applicable
• Engage in resident education through didactics, curriculum development, and advising
• Collaborate with faculty, residents, and interdisciplinary clinical teams
• Maintain high-quality, patient-centered care across preventive, acute, and chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with standards

Education

MD/DO degree

Board Certification in Family Medicine

Active state medical license

Teaching and resident supervision

Strong communication and leadership
