Academic Faculty Physician - Greensboro Podiatry

Job Description

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine are seeking an open rank, full-time foot and ankle surgeon with significant experience and training. The practice will be based in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Position Overview:

1. Location: Patient care in a busy subspecialty orthopaedic practice in Greensboro, NC, with a large and growing referral base.
2. Clinical Focus: Treatment of conditions related to foot and ankle.
3. Teaching Opportunities: Participate in orthopedic resident and fellow teaching, as well as clinical and laboratory research if interested.
4. Collaboration: Part of a department with 90 faculty members, including 10 podiatric surgeons, 3 orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons, and 9 podiatric residents.
5. Call Expectations: Call duties aligned with other podiatric surgeons, not exceeding 4-6 nights per month at a regional hospital in Greensboro.

Qualifications:

1. Certification: Board certified or eligible in podiatric surgery.
2. License: Eligible for North Carolina Medical License.
