University of California, Davis is recruiting an endovascular neurosurgeon for a full-time faculty position within the Department of Neurological Surgery. The role spans Assistant to Full Professor levels, with emphasis on clinical practice, research, and teaching.

Successful candidates will develop an active endovascular program, conduct clinical and/or basic science research, and educate residents, medical students, and fellows in a multidisciplinary setting with Neurology, Radiology, and

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree
• ABNS board-certified or board-eligible
• Competency in general neurosurgery
• Clinical expertise in care of patients with cerebrovascular diseases
• Experience teaching residents, fellows, and medical students
• Evidence of clinical and/or basic science research
• Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an active endovascular neurosurgery clinical practice
• Conduct clinical and/or basic science research
• Teach residents, medical students, and fellows
• Provide University and public service
• Be part of a multidisciplinary team including Neurology, Neuro-Critical Care, Radiology, and PM&R
