The University of California, Irvine, Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking two qualified candidates as full-time faculty members in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Ideal candidates will hold an unrestricted medical license in California, completed an ACGME neurosurgery residency, and have fellowship training in Neurointerventional Surgery; board certified/eligible by ABNS.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical license from the Medical Board of California (required at start date).
• Graduated from an ACGME-accredited residency in Neurological Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Neurointerventional Surgery.
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in neurosurgery and participate in the department's academic activities.
• Contribute to the hospital's comprehensive stroke program and cerebrovascular care.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring of residents and fellows.
• Collaborate on research initiatives related to cerebrovascular disease.
