Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Endocrinology is seeking an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to provide clinical care and educate students, residents and fellows in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities include bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences, thyroid ultrasound/FNA work, and opportunities to focus on thyroid, pituitary, diabetes or transgender medicine. Competitive salary with incentive bonus participation.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team, including CDCES.
• Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Opportunity to focus on areas of endocrinology (thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested.
