Job summary

The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is actively recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The role combines clinical care with education of students, residents and fellows.

Candidates will participate in multidisciplinary conferences and have opportunities to teach in diverse areas of endocrinology, with potential to specialize in thyroid, pituitary, diabetes or transgender medicine, in a collegial, research-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Comfort working in a multidisciplinary, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Provide clinical care across a wide range of endocrinopathies.
• Collaborate with a diabetes education team and utilize thyroid ultrasound/ FNAs.
