Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center & Wake Forest University School of Medicine Charlotte invites outstanding emergency physicians to join our academic department as a full-time Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor on a non-tenure-track appointment. The role blends clinical care, education, and scholarly activity across two premier Level I trauma centers.

Qualifications

MD/DO degree required; board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina; commitment to clinical excellence and education.
Academic, non-tenure-track appointment with emphasis on patient care, education, and research.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in clinical care within two Level I trauma centers.
Mentor and teach residents, fellows and medical students; contribute to scholarly activity.
Develop and contribute to curriculum, educational innovation, and research initiatives.
Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration across EMS, ultrasound, toxicology, pediatric EM, and global EM.
