University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) invites applications for an Academic Electrophysiologist to join the expanding EP Program within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. This full-time faculty position offers the potential for Assistant Professor or higher with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent).
• Board eligible or board certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted license in Maryland.
• Strong interest and experience in teaching, clinical activity, and research.

Responsibilities

• Active in diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology, including complex ablation of VT and atrial arrhythmias, extractions, biventricular pacing, atrial appendage closures and innovative device therapy.
• Expand our clinical programs and provide care at University of Maryland Medical Center and EP outpatient clinics at outreach locations.
• Evidence of teaching and research activity, and ability to offer graduate instruction and direct graduate research.
