Job summary

University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join its 13-member cardiology group in Towson, Maryland.

The role includes outpatient and inpatient consults, ablations, and device implantations in a hospital-based setting. Join a CMS 5-Star, Leapfrog Grade A hospital, with access to a modern EP lab and a high-volume program integrated within UM SJMG.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship.
• Active or eligible for state medical license; DEA registration; BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and inpatient consults.
• Ablation of SVT and VT.
• Pulmonary vein isolation.
• Left atrial occlusion devices and pacing system implants.
• Pacemakers, loop recorders, ICD and CRT device implantation.
• Access to modern electrophysiology lab and a state-of-the-art hybrid OR.
• Part of a high-volume coronary, cardiac surgery and structural heart program.
