Albany Medical College, within the Albany Med Health System, is actively recruiting a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to join the team. The division provides diagnostic evaluations and medical management for children up to 21, collaborating with psychiatry, pediatrics, neurology and genetics.

The ideal candidate will have DBP certification or eligibility and a strong interest in teaching, program development, and patient-centered care across diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
• Interest in developing innovative programming within DB practice.
• Experience or interest in teaching house staff and medical students.
• Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic assessments and medical management of patients up to 21 years with developmental concerns.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology and genetics.
• Contribute to development of innovative programming within the division and to the Medical Home for children with ASD.
• Support the eating/feeding team and participate in rapid developmental screening for children under age 5.
