Baptist Health Sciences University seeks an Academic Dean for the College of Sciences & General Studies. The Dean will lead strategic planning, align programs with health sciences focus, and oversee curriculum development, accreditation, and faculty excellence.

This position reports to the Provost and advances student learning and workforce readiness. Responsibilities include program oversight, faculty recruitment and development, and fostering partnerships with healthcare providers and industry

Formación

• Earned doctorate in a discipline related to sciences, general studies, curriculum and instruction, educational administration, or closely related field.
• Knowledge of learning theories, curriculum design, assessment, and educational practices at multiple levels.

Responsabilidades

• Leads college strategy and planning, aligning goals with university initiatives and workforce needs.
• Supports enrollment management and student success, recruitment, advising, retention, and progression policies.
