Job summary

Mesquite ISD is seeking an experienced administrator to serve as Assistant Principal/Dean at the campus level. You will support the principal in leading the instructional program and help develop strategies to improve teaching and student outcomes.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree and Administrator Certificate. The role is full-time, reports to the Principal, and involves scheduling, data analysis, supervision, and advancing college, career, and other readiness efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Administrator Certificate required.
• Experience in public education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, entry, and implementation of campus master schedule.
• Supervise campus grading system.
• Oversee classroom walkthrough system and data analysis.
• Coordinate graduation.
• Manage and supervise learning recovery.
• Supervise counseling program.
• Lead college, career, and military readiness efforts.
• Supervise Advanced Academics (AP/DC/On Ramps).
• Oversee Teaching Incentive programs.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback.
• Support professional learning communities and development.
