Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking an Academic Dean to guide strategic direction, expand training programs, and inspire faculty and students. You will direct recruitment, development, and management of a high-performing team focused on innovative curricula and programs.

You will partner with executive leadership to ensure program quality, manage budgets, and implement effective curricula across healthcare, automotive/diesel, skilled trades, IT and related disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in educational settings.
• Ability to lead across departments and with senior management.
• Experience designing and updating curricula and programs.
• Experience developing and mentoring faculty and staff.
• Proven track record of coordinating resources and budgets.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities of an Academic Dean

• Emphasize strategies that maximize the use of available resources, to consistently strive for quality results and achieve standards of excellence
• Make effective decisions and support implementation and evaluation of programs and policies
• Assist in budget preparation by forecasting trends and potential requirements
• Contribute to curriculum development and implementation
• Encourage and support faculty development, training, onboarding, and evaluations
• Focus on faculty recruitment, to ensure qualified instructors for all programs

Requirements of an Academic Dean

• 5+ years of management experience
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships and partner with senior and executive management
