Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational Level: Masters Degree in job related field.
• Certification/License: Valid Georgia Teacher certification or eligibility for GA certification.
• Experience: Three years successful teaching experience in a grade level served by the school.
• Physical Activities: Routine physical activities required to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and oral communication; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers in designing and implementing lesson plans and assessments reflecting Best Practices.
• Assists teachers in developing classroom management strategies fostering a climate for achievement.
• Assists teachers in securing resources to implement the School Improvement Plan.
• Assists teachers in using flexible grouping to address deficiencies and accelerate learning.
• Supports school leadership in monitoring School Improvement Plan actions and strategies.
