Job summary

Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, seeks a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our established academic midwifery service as a faculty member of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. You will provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, OB Triage, Postpartum, and Antepartum units, working in a state-of-the-art center.

The role includes graduate medical education, clinical research, and quality improvement, with day, night, and weekend

Qualifications

• Must have CNM credential and AMCB certification.
• Rhode Island CNM license, CSR and DEA registration required or eligible.
• Minimum 4+ years of CNM clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across Labor & Delivery, OB Triage, Postpartum, and Antepartum units.
• Operate in the Labor & Delivery Center with private rooms and Alongside Midwifery Unit.
• Cover day and night shifts, including weekends (7:30a–5:30p and 12p–10p).
• Engage in graduate medical education through supervision and teaching of residents and medical students.
• Contribute to clinical research, scholarship, and quality improvement with national leaders.
