Job summary

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a general cardiologist to teach and provide clinical cardiology services in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, with responsibilities across downtown and midtown campuses and other ambulatory sites.

Expected faculty rank will be Assistant Professor or higher, with salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• MD degree and eligible for Maryland medical license.
• Board certification in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine.
• Fellowship training in cardiology; echocardiography expertise (TEE, stress echo).
• Ability to teach and deliver clinical cardiology in inpatient/outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide clinical cardiology services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in all aspects of the general cardiology programs at multiple sites.
• Engage in teaching and scholarly activities as faculty.
