Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a General Anesthesiologist (open rank) who is dedicated to patient care and to resident education. UNC Hospitals provide full-service tertiary and quaternary care in a rich academic setting, with opportunities for scholarly contribution.

Qualified candidates will have an MD/DO or equivalent and have completed an ACGME-accredited residency; ABA certification or eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency program or equivalent.
• ABA certification or eligibility required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in UNC Hospitals and affiliated locations.
• Commitment to patient care and resident education.
• Collaborate with CAAs/CRNAs and other services within an academic setting.
