Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in New York, NY. The role includes sign-out of surgical pathology, cytology, and frozen sections, with clinical collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

The candidate will provide medical oversight of laboratories, supervise staff, and contribute to teaching and academic activities within a robust academic environment.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Medical License.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice the full spectrum of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in a dynamic, academic hospital environment.
• Interpret and sign out a wide variety of surgical pathology, cytology, and frozen section cases with diagnostic autonomy.
• Provide medical oversight and consultation to clinical laboratories including hematology, urinalysis, body fluids, blood smear review, and reference testing.
