Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Allergy & Immunology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy & Immunology.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State.
• DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Allergy & Immunology consultation services for adult and pediatric hospitalized patients.
• Evaluate and manage the spectrum of allergic and immunologic disorders (asthma, allergic rhinitis, etc.).
• Perform and supervise allergy testing, oral food and medication challenges, allergen immunotherapy, and drug desensitization.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Infectious Disease, Rheumatology, Hematology/Oncology, Otolaryngology, Emergency Medicine, Pharmacy, and other specialties.
