Job summary

Harvard University’s Biostatistics Department seeks an Assistant Director of Academic Affairs to lead admissions policy, curriculum oversight, and budgeting across graduate programs. You will supervise senior program staff, coordinate with department leadership, and ensure data accuracy for progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 5+ years in an academic setting and supervisory experience.
• Experience with database management and NIH T32 awards is preferred.
• Strong budgeting, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions policies, reporting, and data tracking with graduate offices.
• Lead course offerings, instructor assignments, and TF processes with Registrar offices.
• Coordinate degree program policy with directors and registrars.
• Oversee funding strategies, fellowships, and student-related budgets.
• Maintain student records, progress tracking, and alumni outcomes.
• Lead education-focused committees and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
