The Academic Affairs Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and programmatic support to the Office of the Provost. The Academic Affairs Coordinator reports to the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of internal operations, the coordination of academic functions, including accreditation-related projects, and faculty development functions. Additional responsibilities include academic affairs and faculty affairs reporting functions, maintaining records, managing schedules, planning and coordinating events, assisting with academic policy updates as needed, and acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders. The Academic Affairs Coordinator collaborates closely with colleagues across the university to ensure alignment with institutional priorities and provides backup support to executive office staff as needed.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position is not eligible for remote work. This position is housed in the Office of the Provost in the Administration Building.
