Cape Cod Community College seeks an Academic Advisor to support students through learner-centered, equity-focused advising within the SUCCESSFund program. The role emphasizes growth mindset, asset-based practice, teamwork, and proactive outreach, including evening/weekend hours as needed.
The advisor will manage a caseload, develop academic plans aligned with degree requirements, and collaborate with faculty and staff to promote retention and completion.

The Academic Advisor will advise students embracing the office's learner-centered and proactive advising models, while applying an equity lens to their execution of advising practice. The ideal candidate believes in the power of a growth mindset and asset-based practice, authentic teamwork, setting priorities and successfully achieving them. With a global perspective and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, the Academic Advisor will be an integral part of the student retention and completion team. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. The SUCCESSFund is a case management-based program that provides students with opportunities for academic success, career development, and identity development.

Full-time MCCC Unit Position; Grade 5 Academic Counselor with an anticipated annual salary range of $72,265 - 85,198. Actual salary will be consistent with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program including option for membership in the Massachusetts State Employees' Retirement System.
