The Academic Advisor I provides comprehensive academic advising and student support to help students successfully progress from admission through graduation. This position advises students on degree requirements, academic policies, course selection, registration, graduation planning, transfer credit, program changes, and academic success strategies.
The Academic Advisor I develops individualized degree plans, monitors student progress, and proactively communicates with students through email, phone, text/chat, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments. The position supports student retention by assisting at-risk students, addressing academic and enrollment concerns, coordinating with faculty and campus partners, and connecting students with appropriate university resources.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is up to $46,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.
Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
