Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking an academic addiction medicine physician to join our growing addiction medicine division, with a focus on urban underserved care and harm reduction.

The successful candidate would report to the division head of addiction medicine and hold an academic appointment at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, contributing to inpatient and outpatient programs and innovative community initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Preferred: fellowship in addiction medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry.
• Active medical license in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Shape the delivery of substance use disorder care in urban underserved settings.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient addiction medicine services as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Report to the division head of addiction medicine and hold an academic appointment at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
• Serve in collaborative programs across hospital and community settings.
