Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Addiction Medicine. The APP can be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team delivering specialized care.

Responsibilities include clinical practice, education of staff and patients, and involvement in research across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Requirements: Master's degree (APN or PA), board certification, active NJ license, plus BLS and CDS/DEA.

The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens advanced medicalcare practiceand promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The Advanced Practice Provide serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Experience Required

Experience in addiction as a Nurse Practitioner is highly preferred.

License/Certification Requirements
