The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicineat the Perelman School of Medicine at the University ofPennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or FullProfessor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certifiedor board eligible in Infectious Diseases is required. Rank will becommensurate with experience.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Infectious Diseasesfellows, residents, and medical students. The academic cliniciantrack requires 100 credits per year of active and high-qualityteaching. There will be an expectation of the ability of selectedcandidates to provide management and/or leadership.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient weeks at theHospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Penn PresbyterianMedical Center (PPMC), HUP-Cedar, as well as outpatient sessions atthe Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM) or PPMC. Clinicalareas of focus may include general Infectious Diseases, HIV, andinfections in immunocompromised hosts.
